The 7th Annual Tłı̨chǫ Gathering was held July 5 to 7, 2011, in Whatì at the Johnny Nitsiza Cultural Centre. It also marked the 11th Session of the 2nd Tłı̨chǫ Assembly. Tłı̨chǫ citizens, leadership, Elders, and families came together to carry out governance work in a space grounded in culture, language, and community.
The Tłı̨chǫ History Project
This website documents the long history of the Tlicho Land Claims and Self Government Agreement. Beginning with the signing of Treaty 11 by Chief Monfwi in 1921, this site documents all the milestones on the way to August 4, 2005 – Effective Day for the Tlicho Agreement and the beginning of a new period in the history of Tlicho.
